Santoro vs Annunziata

Come si fa a non essere d'accordo con Santoro sullo scontro televisivo di Annozero di giovedì 15/1/09.
Santoro non ha fatto altro che esporre i fatti e ha lasciato parlare delle persone e ognuno di loro ha espresso le loro opinioni anche se estreme. Se Israele sta uccidendo un sacco di innocenti, e di bambini, perchè nasconderlo.
Semmai la critica dovrebbe essere fatta ai telegiornali che non trasmettono e non fanno interviste veritiere come quella rivolta alle vittime innocenti, bambine che non sanno nulla di Hamas.
Posso condividere la prima critica fatta da Annunziata, quando disse che voleva fare la stronzetta, interrompendo e dicendo che era scorretto far parlare e promuovere uno scontro, seppur verbale tra le due ragazze estremiste. Certi argomenti non dovrebbero esser trattati da ragazzine, semmai da persone più adulte che hanno vissuto o vivono la guerra direttamente.
Se poi l'Annunziata voleva una trasmissione da educatrice con una morale, come le favole allora era megli che se ne stava a casa.
Una trasmissione giornalistica di approfondimento non può trasformarsi in un momento di dialogo tra le parti coinvolte senza mostrare i fatti. Magari un dialogo dove le parti si impegnano per la pace. Santoro ha fatto benissimo a mostrare i fatti, che poi questi fatti siano contro Israele questo non è un problema di Santoro.
Riporto la risposta di Santoro al l presidente Fini, che da fascistone è diventato pro-israeliano: "In un paese normale il livello della decenza lo supera un presidente della Camera che, travalicando i suoi compiti istituzionali, interviene per richiedere una censura nei confronti di un giornalista che sta compiendo il suo dovere di informare l'opinione pubblica".
Naturalmente, e non solo l'Annunziata, tutti cercano di pararsi il culo e trovare consenso-appoggio da qualche parte, di conseguenza si espongono in un certo modo.
Credo fortemente che Santoro abbia fatto, stranamente, bene a esporre i fatti, magari avrebbe dovuto invitare persone meno estremiste, sia dal lato degli israeliani sia dal lato dei palestinesi, e che l'obiettivo di un buon giornalista sia quello di scuotere le masse, facendo discutere sugli argomenti, ossia la guerra, e non sulle critiche di faziosità.

Subject: Whales should be shot with Canons, not harpoons



Dear Mr. Mitarai,

I don’t want to see whales being shot with anything other than a camera and I hope that you and your company agree. However, thousands of whales have been shot and killed with exploding harpoons in the Southern Ocean since the global moratorium on high seas whaling came into force in 1986. Every year the Japanese whaling fleet returns to plunder the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary, under the guise of “science” in the hope that the moratorium will soon be overturned.

Yet with around 4,000 tonnes of whalemeat in storage, declining demand, and subsidised production, it is not a commercially viable activity. When this is added to the fact that whales can be studied without killing them – it is a scandal that this so called “science” continues at the expense of Japanese taxpayers.

Given Canon's sponsorship of environmental groups and the cause of endangered species the world over, I'm sure you share my concerns. I believe you are the ideal person to advocate for an end to this unnecessary slaughter and waste of Japanese taxpayers’ money.

Mister Mitarai, you are best placed among Japanese business leaders to help bring about an end to whaling in the Southern Ocean and you have a personal responsibility to safeguard the interests of Japanese businesses abroad where whaling is a liability for Japanese brands and their profitability. I am urging you to sign the following statement:

"Canon is committed to building a better world for future generations, and does not support the hunting of endangered or threatened species with anything other than a camera. Canon believes the lethal whaling research programme in the Southern Ocean should be ended, and replaced with a non-lethal research programme."

Canon says on its website that it wants to “hand over a beautiful earth for future generations”. I think the earth would be incredibly less beautiful without whales. Don’t you?

Gaza Situation

In these days the situation in Gaza is incredible. More and more children are dying for Jewish hand, like in these photos. Also in this case UN doesn’t do anything. Words and bullshit and Israel continues to kill.
I can’t accept these one-way war, where who die are only Palestine people, and mostly innocent children, that doesn’t know what is Hamas. And everyone make a critic to Israelis
is accused to be extremist or nazi, instead is democratic or support of civil human rights.
International community, like since 60 years, supports this genocide, and justifies Israelis despite these atrocities.
I don’t understand why Israel attacked last day the headquarters of the United Nations in Gaza city. What was the reason? Food or terrorists?

More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli campaign so far, about 40 percent of them women and children, according to the Hamas-run Ministry of Health; Israel says only a quarter may be civilians and even if is true are always 250.
Three Israeli civilians have been killed in rocket attacks and 10 soldiers have died during the current campaign.

It is impossible continue to see a extremist and fascist state. All Arab states would participate helping Palestinian brothers.

Since 1927, TIME Magazine has chosen a man, woman, or idea that "for better or worse, has most influenced events in the preceding year."
Sometimes the choice can be discussed, mostly when some people was named twice or three times like Roosevelt .
More particular in 2006 when Time Magazine has chosen "You" more strenght and delicate choice.
In the other years they decided with sense also when they named dictator like Stalin, Hitler and Bush.
Good choice for Gandhi, Pope John XXIII, Pope John Paul II and Martin Luther King.

Who in the 2009??

Novità per abbonamenti IC Pass

Sembrano che facciano apposta quelli di Trenitalia, ogni giorno c'è sempre una novella simpatica.
Prima hanno detto che gli abbonamenti IC Pass, indipendentemente dalla loro scadenza, sarebbero stati validi fino al 31 dicembre '08 anche ESCity, dato che IC li hanno eliminato nella tratta MI-VE.
Adesso hanno cambiato idea. Gli abbonamenti integrativi relativi alla regione Lombardia potranno essere usati fino alla loro scadenza naturale.

Decidersi prima magari.... oppure non eliminare addirittura gli IC ...
