Mezza Maratona -- 2

Domenica 20 settembre '09 ho svolto la mia prima mezza maratona che si è tenuta a Brescia. L'evento è stato organizzato da Maratonina di BS (http://www.maratoninadibrescia.it/), per la precisione ho parteciato alla prima coppa Museo Mille Miglia.
La partenza ha avuto luogo presso il museo Mille Miglia, zona S. Eufemia, e il percorso è stato tutto pianeggiante e molto bello, si è passato dal centro storico due volte in quanto si è arrivati zona Stocchetta.
Purtroppo non ho avuto molto tempo per allenarmi durante le ultime due settimane e comunque i miei allenamenti si sono sempre attestati sui 10-13 km mai oltre. Infatti in gara si è visto; dopo 10 km (zona Campo Marte)la stanchezza si faceva sentire, e verso i 15-18 km le gambe hanno iniziato a ribellarsi.
Alla fine ho fatto un tempo mediocre (2h 05'), il mio obiettivo era di stare sotto le due ore... sarà per il prossimo anno.

ps. il ristoro lungo il percorso era ogni 5 km e "ben fornito" (solo acqua naturale) mentre all'arrivo il nulla, in parte da attribuire all'organizzazione ma in parte da attribuire agli sciacalli e mortaccioni che pensano che il ristoro all'arrivo faccia da pranzo e cena.

pss. i cartelli che indicavano i km non erano precisi, tanto che il cartello dei 10 km era 200-300 metri prima del rilevatore ufficiale dei 10 km. va be...

Mezza Maratona -- 1

Ormai ha avuto inizio l'allenamento per la mezza maratona di settembre '09 e non vedo l'ora che finisca.
Come allenamento settimanale ho previsto 4 uscite, due di 30 minuti circa, una di velocità a Campo Marte e una di un'oretta sul Mella di circa 12 km e Legamenti permettendo tenderò ad aumentare.
I tempi??
In continuo miglioramento, comunque ben lontani da quelli degli atleti professionisti.
Ho preso come distanza di riferimento un giro al campo Marte che corrisponde a 500 m.
Da questa primavera sono riuscito a scendere di almeno 20 secondi come giro veloce. Stamani ho fatto:
500 m --> 1'56''

Credo che riuscirei a migliorare ancora di qualche secondo.

Almeno due volte faccio dei lenti lunghi e per questo mese mi fermo ai 12 km e dal prossimo mese farò delle uscite intorno ai 20 km. Sarà forse il caldo oppure x' ho raggiunto il mio limite fisico, fatto sta che certe uscite non riesco nemmeno a camminare, sono eccessivamente stanco.

Ho ancora un lungo mese di allenamento e poi vedremo... mezza maratona...

'Less you wanna draw the heat.

Alfred Bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops.
Him and Arthur Dexter Bradley were just out prowlin' around
He said, "I saw two men runnin' out, they looked like middleweights
They jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates."
And Miss Patty Valentine just nodded her head.
Cop said, "Wait a minute, boys, this one's not dead"
So they took him to the infirmary
And though this man could hardly see
They told him that he could identify the guilty men.

Four in the mornin' and they haul Rubin in,
Take him to the hospital and they bring him upstairs.
The wounded man looks up through his one dyin' eye
Says, "Wha'd you bring him in here for? He ain't the guy!"
Yes, here's the story of the Hurricane,

Four months later, the ghettos are in flame,
Rubin's in South America, fightin' for his name

"Remember you said you saw the getaway car?"
"You think you'd like to play ball with the law?"

Arthur Dexter Bradley said, "I'm really not sure."
Cops said, "A poor boy like you could use a break
We got you for the motel job and we're talkin' to your friend Bello
Now you don't wanta have to go back to jail, be a nice fellow.
You'll be doin' society a favor.
That sonofabitch is brave and gettin' braver.
We want to put his ass in stir
We want to pin this triple murder on him
He ain't no Gentleman Jim."

Rubin could take a man out with just one punch
But he never did like to talk about it all that much.
It's my work, he'd say, and I do it for pay
And when it's over I'd just as soon go on my way
Up to some paradise
Where the trout streams flow and the air is nice
And ride a horse along a trail.
But then they took him to the jailhouse
Where they try to turn a man into a mouse.

All of Rubin's cards were marked in advance
The trial was a pig-circus, he never had a chance.
The judge made Rubin's witnesses drunkards from the slums
To the white folks who watched he was a revolutionary bum
And to the black folks he was just a crazy nigger.
No one doubted that he pulled the trigger.
And though they could not produce the gun,
The D.A. said he was the one who did the deed
And the all-white jury agreed.

Rubin Carter was falsely tried.
The crime was murder "one," guess who testified?
Bello and Bradley and they both baldly lied
And the newspapers, they all went along for the ride.
How can the life of such a man
Be in the palm of some fool's hand?
To see him obviously framed
Couldn't help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land
Where justice is a game.

Now all the criminals in their coats and their ties
Are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise
While Rubin sits like Buddha in a ten-foot cell

Vignetta di Giannelli

La vignetta di Giannelli di oggi sul Corsera è straordinaria.

Da questa si capisce quali sono le vere intenzioni di alcuni dirigenti del Partito Democratico, non tanto per D'Alema, anche..

Credo che in questi mesi il buon Dario abbia fatto un buon lavoro, è riuscito a ricucire alcuni strappi all'interno del partito. Certo non poteva fare miracoli e far raggiungere il 40% il PD ma è riuscito ad evitare la disfatta e lo sciogliemento del partito.

Inoltre devo dire che mi è piaciuto perchè ha parlato da vero leader di opposizione, con proposte alternative al governo ed è stato molto concreto. Il problema che è stato da solo. Non mi sembra che ci siano stati altri leader del PD che l'abbiamo sostenuto.

Le ultime dichiarazioni di Franceschini, in merito alla segreteria, le condivido. Come si fa a pensare di ridare il partito alla vecchia generazione, anche se Bersani si è scontrato o vittima di Veltroni e altri vecchi DS. Credo che Dario, anche se aveva detto che non si sarebbe candidato alla segreteria, possa essere un buon segretario, ma soprattutto ritengo che il PD abbia bisogno di stabilità e di continuità nella segreteria.

Messaggio in occasione dell'anniversario della strage di piazza della Loggia

Di seguito riporto il comunicato stampa del Presidente della Repubblica Giorgio Napolitano in occasione dell’anniversario della strage di piazza della Loggia – Brescia.

Il Presidente della Repubblica Giorgio Napolitano, in occasione dell’anniversario della strage di Piazza della Loggia, ha inviato al Sindaco di Brescia, Adriano Paroli il seguente messaggio:

“A trentacinque anni dalla orrenda strage che il 28 maggio 1974 colpì così duramente la città di Brescia, il mio pensiero commosso va ancora una volta alle vittime innocenti di quel barbaro attentato e al dolore dei loro famigliari.

Quella strage costituì momento drammatico di un periodo oscuro nel quale la violenza eversiva mise a dura prova le istituzioni democratiche.

Il ricordo di essa e di chi perse la vita quel giorno è vivo nella coscienza del Paese.

Come ho sottolineato lo scorso 9 maggio in occasione della seconda celebrazione del “Giorno della memoria”, il ricordo è fondamento della identità collettiva di un popolo. Per non dimenticare quel che l’Italia ha vissuto e per sventare ogni rischio che tornino i fantasmi del passato, è dunque essenziale sviluppare un impegno costante di trasmissione della memoria e insieme di diffusione della cultura della convivenza pacifica, per l’esercizio dei diritti nell’ambito della legalità costituzionale.

All’impegno civile e sociale deve accompagnarsi quello, altrettanto costante e comune, volto alla ricerca di valide conclusioni di giustizia e verità processuale da tanto tempo attese.”

Campagna elettorale di Franceschini

Le affermazioni del segretario Dario Franceschini non sono del tutto sbagliate, tranne che sono soltanto fuori tempo.

La politica la si fa in mezzo alla gente, tra il popolo e ascoltando i loro problemi. È molto importante ascoltare e proporre soluzioni ragionevoli e razionali. Ma con uno sfidante come Silvio non è possibile, oltre al fatto che non è possibile fare solo questo.

Credo che bisogna andare tra la gente e utilizzare tutti i mezzi di comunicazione esistenti, perché la televisione, quotidiani ed internet raggiungono molte più persone. Il vecchio ciclostilato e stringere le mani non funziona più o comunque può essere fatto solo in alcuni e in pochi casi.

La campagna elettorale fatta usando anche ragazzine o veline funziona, mentre stringere le mani e parlare ai pensionati no. Un certo tipo di elettorato, in particolare quello centrista e quello indeciso, guarda le cose più frivole e superficiali, mentre quello di sinistra /centrosinistra li aborra completamente ed è per questo che odia/non sopporta il Silvio nazionale.

Comunque vada il PD dovrebbe cambiare radicalmente il modo di comunicare e di fare politica.
